NHS dental treatments

There are three standard charges for all NHS dental treatments. This makes it easier to know how much you may need to pay for the care you receive.

All charges apply to an overall course of treatment, and not the individual items within the course of treatment. You will only pay one charge for each course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it. We always discuss your treatment and cost with you and keep you informed should there be any changes to the proposed treatment plan.

Some people, such as under 18s and pregnant women, are exempt from charges – just ask any member of our team for more information before you have any treatment with us.

Not all dental treatments are available on the NHS for example cosmetic treatment. These may be available on a private basis. Please ask your dentist for details.
